Magic Dance Class

Magic Dance is a dance program designed for young children (typically ages 3.5–5). Through playful music and movement, it nurtures children’s interest in dance and music while developing coordination, rhythm, musical awareness, and imagination. Rather than focusing on technical training, the program emphasizes learning through play and experiencing the joy and beauty of movement, laying a strong foundation for future dance study.
Chinese dance

Children’s Chinese Dance is a dance program designed for children, integrating foundational elements of Chinese classical dance and Chinese folk dance. The course focuses on nurturing interest and supporting physical and emotional well-being, while using age-appropriate and structured training to develop posture, coordination, expressiveness, and overall ability. Through basic technique, introductory folk and classical dance, children learn joyfully while experiencing and connecting with traditional Chinese culture.
Dance Techniques

Children’s Chinese Dance Technique focuses on skill development drawn from the essence of Chinese classical dance and Chinese folk dance, adapted for the child developmental stage. Training includes fundamental flexibility, strength control, turns, jumps, and overall physical coordination, as well as the integration of hands, eyes, body, movement methods, and footwork. Traditional movement techniques inspired by ethnic dance elements are also incorporated.
Dance Tumbling

Tumbling Techniques (Tan Zi Gong) in Chinese dance are advanced skills within Chinese classical dance, originating from the acrobatic and tumbling techniques of traditional Chinese martial arts. They refer to a series of complex aerial movements such as flips, turns, jumps, falls, and dives, including somersaults, spins, and connected tumbling sequences.
These techniques emphasize explosive power, flexibility, control, and stability. Often used as a highlight within choreography to create dramatic impact, Tan Zi Gong represents the refined integration of martial arts and dance, requiring a high level of physical training as well as mental focus and discipline.
Lion Dance

Children’s Lion Dance is a performance program that adapts the traditional art of Lion Dance to suit children’s development. Through imitating lion movements and moving to the rhythm of drums and gongs, the program promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline. More importantly, it introduces children to the symbolism and values of Chinese culture, fostering a sense of pride and belonging through cultural heritage.
Chinese dance exams and certifications

Chinese Dance Grading Examinations are standardized level assessment programs established by organizations such as the China Dancers Association for Chinese classical dance and Chinese folk dance. These examinations systematically evaluate dancers’ technical skills—primarily for children and adolescents—and award official certificates.
The grading system provides clear learning benchmarks, enhances motivation, and supports cultural literacy. It also plays an important role in both professional pathways, such as teacher qualification assessment, and broader arts education.
